Things That Make You Go Hmmm....

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put my favorite Blogs into the column on the left. What infuriates me is that fact that I know it can be done.(Jen P-email me?) Sigh. I will figure it out. But right now it's time for some shout outs. These are the Blogs I can't live without, (only the top 3 are in order): *Fertility Now!* (My favorite--of course she's smart enough to figure out how to make the list of Blogs), Vintage Uterus,(she's feisty) and The Rabbit Lived, (she's pregnant!) My three favorites "new to me" are Losing the Baby Wait, herveryown and Pregnancy by committee. I also always read: Julia (Here be Hippogriffs), the Uterine Wars, the Underproductive Reproductive, the RE's Muse, BrokenOrNot, My Reich Ovary, Horkin Ramblings, JellyBelly, and A Little Pregnant. These are my peeps, my girls, my homies. There are a lot of others I check in on but I will wait and just put them in the column when I figure it out.

I registered to vote. I have never voted before but this election is soooo important. Unfortunately both candidates suck, but one definitely sucks waaaaay more. My political views, at least for now, I will not disclose, but my decisions are very much based on, what is best for our troops, keeping our country terrorist free and preserving our culture. That's enough of that.

Let's see what's up on the IF front. Not much. I tried to check my ovulation yesterday, with my spanking new, handy dandy Saliva Ovulation Predictor Kit. It looks like a tube of lipstick and it has this built in mini-microscope. The only thing I learned was that I had wasted my 27 dollars.

I think this was the most boring post yet. I don't even care what I'm saying anymore... ZZZZZZ

Thanks for the 'shout out' Becky--I gotta say that you're one of my homies too and I always check in to see how you're doing.

BTW, I have the instructions at work for how to add the bloglist to the sidebar. It was slightly challenging for me but it can be done. Let me know if you want me to help you with it. I can also e-mail or (gasp!) call you with the info and we could walk through it.

I thought I was one of the only ones who bought that Saliva Ovulation Predictor! Yikes--sorry to see that I wasn't. Yep, I learned the same lesson you did; can't get my $$ back either. What we won't do/buy/go through in our quest for a baby.

Becky,

You are toooooooooo kind. My head--I feel it swelling uncontrollably!

As for the links, Blogger help is actually somewhat useful (go to Help, then Working With Blogger, to Templates, then "How Do I Edit My Link List?").

Good luck, and thanks again for the kind words!

Good for you for registering to vote. Part of being a good parent (or parent to be) is voting. We owe it to the children of the future to be responsible citizens and keepers of freedom and democracy. Remember voting on every level - not just the presidential one - is important. Also, be sure to check the FACTS behind the statements for yourself; don't swallow things whole because you think they sound right. Example: anti- abortion sounds great! Who can't get behind that! Unfortunately, voting is seldom that simplistic. Find out what the candidate (or candidates) say about the children that are alive now and will be born in the future. Does their compassion continue past birth and into the future with adequate health care and opportunities for income to live above the poverty level???? Do they really protect the environment so the world will be at least as beautiful as we find it now, if not better? A thoughtful vote always has my respect. A kneejerk one is beyond regretable.
