It's quite common, and frequently shows up around this age. My 16 month old developed a touch on his cheek around his 14th month. A super good moisturizer used several times a day keeps it at bay. (Heat seems to aggravate it, too; cooler weather definitely helps.)ewe are herehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13339650361453626546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8116409.post-1158874948425461752006-09-21T14:42:00.000-07:002006-09-21T14:42:00.000-07:00He understands "No" he just doesn't listen. LOL ...He understands "No" he just doesn't listen. LOL That never gets better. No, really, just be consistent, say "No" firmly, and move him away and give him something else to play with. "They" (some book I read) say that you should say "No" to a child in the same amount of words as their age. So, since he's 1, say "No." When he's two, say "No touch" etc. I dunno how well that works, but I think the point is not to confuse him with verbally reasoning why it is bad to touch the electrical outlet. He won't get it. Although I would never tell Alex or Madi something in only 3 words, that's just weird... Can you imagine carrying that reasoning to adulthood? Having to be given all responses in exactly 30 words? LOL That would be funny.Brinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11108760176676599241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8116409.post-1158685765319236682006-09-19T10:09:00.000-07:002006-09-19T10:09:00.000-07:00Wow, it sounds like you keep yourself busy. Good luck with the shedding! I've got three fur babies and understand how that can be. :-)Brandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06219562593890122880noreply@blogger.com
